Wonderfully performed, with immense skill and humor.
— The Village Voice

The internationally renowned PEARSONWIDRIG DANCETHEATER presents a quick moving series of short dances from their acclaimed repertory, inspired by everything from salt to oranges to music including Mexico’s Los Panchos and Senegal’s Baaba Maal. The audience, irresistibly drawn into a world of dance theater where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, discovers the joy and power of dance as a transformative language, capable of giving a deeper access to oneself and providing a universal form of communication with the world.

• Interspersed with short video pieces shot by Mr. Widrig that show people of all ages and nationalities dancing in sites as varied as a 1930’s swimming pool in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a 10-story sand hill in Tinos, Greece, the performance is simultaneously accessible and mysterious, humorous and profound.

• Duration: Approximately 1 hour.

The audience will have an opportunity for a Q&A at the end of the concert.
